Sneakerheads2020 designed the Nike Air Huarache. In 2003, the outdoor-inspired “Escape” colorway debuted. For 2021, Nike will be bringing back the popular colorway exactly like it was in ’03. the Air Huarache was part of a directional series that focused on containment with a neoprene interior bootie and reductive upper design; in addition to running, Tinker and Nike delivered one for basketball (Air Flight Huarache), cross-training (Air Trainer Huarache), and several other, lesser-known styles.Nike Air Huarache "Escape" Dressed in a Bisque, Storm Grey, Rope, and Black color scheme. This Nike Air Huarache features a Grey neoprene bootie paired with earthy Brown leather overlays and a supportive ankle strap.Releasing very sparsely throughout the earlier half of the 1990s, the Huaraches caught the attention of the sneaker sub-culture in the early 2000s thanks to collaborations with Stussy and other sought-after colorways like the “Escape” from 2003.A White midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design. Nike has chosen to bring back the model in its “OG” form, and based on the relative indifference to the aforementioned Stussy re-issues by the modern generation of sneakerheads, the Escape won’t escape those who truly appreciate the shoes.
