Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite benefit of using the latest software is to use InDesign workflows that you are familiar with publishing and digital media. InDesign CS6 Top 10 New Features Below are the latest features that add value to  InDesign CS6.

  • Liquid content
  • Alternative layout
  • Digital publishing
  • Adjusting the text frame
  • Linked content
  • Content sender
  • Interactivity EPUB and HTML5

  1. Liquid Content

InDesign priorities have changed dramatically in recent years. As the use of smartphones and tablets in the telecommunications world increases, designers are forced to create multiple versions of designs that flow well between devices, regardless of end-user variation.

The layout is a modern feature that helps designers create content with different page sizes and orientations on different device platforms. By applying rules to fluid pages, you can control how your page's design elements look when you create alternative layouts with different sizes or proportions.

  1. Alternative Layout

After completing a design of a particular size in indesign classes online according to the customer's requirements, the designer encounters a difficult situation. But at the last moment, the phone rings and the customer on the other side of the phone asks. Can I resize the template dimensions to a new size and send it immediately?

Everything you've done so far is wasted. Relax; The new InDesign provides a solution that allows you to quickly adjust your size without the hassle of hours.

With the new "Alternative Layout" feature in InDesign CS6, you're done with just a few clicks. Adobe recognizes the importance of requirements in increasingly demanding printing and digital media. This new feature has the advantage that designers can create the same document page size in the same file.

  1. Digital Publishing

Another clear improvement in InDesign CS6 is in the area of digital publishing. In addition to print and web intents,  users can now specify digital publishing intents before creating a document. Most importantly, this new feature is intended to simply convert content from one media to another, or from one device specification to another.

Surprise Adobe enthusiasts and the design community as Adobe's old document model was desperately in need of changes that were heavily needed in today's workflows, and sooner or later expected this feature to be incorporated into InDesign.

Prior to this, graphics that weren't part of the original content of the layout were linked, so users had to manually update the linked elements if the original content changed.

In this version, Adobe has aggressively expanded its reach far beyond its predecessor. You can now link objects in one layout to other objects with other document layouts. You can define one layout as a parent frame and the other layout as a child frame.

InDesign intelligently remembers parent content and its connections. If the content of the parent frame changes, the child will reflect the change in the link. Warnings appear in sub-layouts and can be easily updated with a single click.

  1. Customizing Text Frames

Playing with text frame options has always been a daunting task for designers. To make things a lot easier, InDesign introduced flexible column width options. This feature allows you to easily control the number and width of columns by resizing the text frame. Columns are automatically added as soon as the set number is reached, and columns are deleted when the file reaches the maximum column width.

  1. Linked Content

Linked Content is a feature defined to allow you to easily duplicate images and content from one page to multiple other pages. Content can range from links, text frames, interactive objects on pages, groups, or entire page elements. Links are possible regardless of the frames included.

The great benefits of linked content are recognized when working with cross-device publication jobs. However, this feature is available for all types of publications. You can share the linked content feature with alternative layouts to use the content of the generated layout.

  1. Content Conveyor

Content Collection and Content Placement Tools play an important role in making linked content practical for designers. You can easily duplicate content and place it in an open InDesign document. The content conveyor displays the copied content. It is used to place and link content across multiple documents.

The benefits of linked content are not limited to the above content. Copying and styling content in various formats such as text, paragraphs, tables, and cells has never been easier. Just copy the style of one object and assign it to another.

  1. Interactivity

InDesign CS6 learned from indesign courses online makes it much easier to design a form and export it directly as a PDF. The latest version of the buttons and library is packed with content that you can use to design interactive forms. Post-processing of PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat is no longer required. Instead, you can use InDesign to set the tab order and tooltips.

The Interaction Design Tool and Adobe Edge Web Motion make it easy to edit animated content on your website. Use web standards such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.  Edge packages can be placed in the layout to provide interaction and animation.

  1. EPUB and HTML

The new InDesign CS6 further simplifies the EPUB file export workflow. The user can choose the EPUB version to which the file will be exported. In addition to the additional features, the dialog box for exporting EPUB files has been relocated to further simplify it.
